Transforming Risk Management at AIG

We're reimagining the way we help customers manage risk, and we're looking for a talented AVP, Financial Institutions to join our team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you'll play a crucial role in finding insurance solutions for our clients in Financial Lines, Property, Casualty, Specialty Lines, Cyber, Multinational Clients, and High Net Worth individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and grow a working pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Work with our distribution partners to achieve positive outcomes in new business and renewals
  • Mentor and train staff through effective leadership, role modeling, and training programs
  • Develop each team member to facilitate personal growth, succession planning, and career development
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to network and build relationships
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work for yourself and others
  • Organized, highly motivated, self-starter who takes responsibility for own performance and demonstrates leadership in their approach to work, training, and knowledge seeking
  • CIP/FCIP/CRM designation is considered an asset
