In this position, you will serve as the primary point of contact and advisory resource for team members and retirees, addressing general inquiries related to established HR services, procedures, policies, and practices. As part of the broader HR Operations team, your contributions will be vital in initiatives aimed at enhancing the employee experience. Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm and welcoming presence for team members engaging with Human Resources.
  • Champion and manage the employee experience.
  • Facilitate comprehensive resolutions by employing research and communication skills to offer consultative support, coaching, and analytical assistance regarding HR services and processes (e.g., payroll, benefits, time management).
  • Ensure clarity by accurately identifying and documenting requests/issues and their root causes promptly, while keeping team members informed.
  • Propose and negotiate effective solutions, adeptly mediating complex or sensitive situations.
  • Build rapport and foster strong collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process enhancements and HR information improvements.
  • Educate and promote self-service options.

Qualifications:

Essential Knowledge:

  • Understanding of HR business policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with customer service and call center principles.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and databases such as SAP, TeamHub, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Bilingual in French and English (both written and verbal).
  • Exceptional communicator: capable of building positive relationships, demonstrating empathy, and collaborating effectively within a cross-functional HR team.
  • Strong writing skills: able to produce clear, customer-friendly documentation.
  • Committed learner and researcher: eager to thrive in a dynamic learning environment.
  • Self-motivated: capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Preferred Experience and Education:

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience in a contact center setting.

Compensation:

Salary Range: $57,000-$85,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 10%
