At Alexandria Moulding, we're seeking a skilled Licensed Millwright/Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Install new equipment and make recommendations for equipment improvements.
  • Ensure all activities are properly logged and maintained.
  • Care for maintenance department tools and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with production teams to resolve equipment issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures and best practices.
  • Maintain good housekeeping standards throughout the plant.
  • Report any unsafe working conditions to management.

Requirements:

  • Valid license/certificate for industrial mechanic millwright (or related field).
  • High school diploma.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work with little supervision.
  • Valid driver's license.
