Job Description

As a Financial Operations Coordinator with UpSourced HR, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance department. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintaining and organizing financial documents, such as invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
  • Data Entry: Accurately and efficiently inputting financial data into accounting systems.
  • Payment Processing: Assisting with processing payments to vendors, suppliers, and other entities in a timely manner.
  • Account Reconciliation: Ensuring that financial records align with bank statements and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Budgeting Support: Providing assistance in preparing and monitoring budgets by collecting and analyzing financial data.
  • Financial Reporting: Assisting in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Administrative Tasks: Providing general administrative support, such as organizing files, responding to inquiries, and managing correspondence.
  • Financial Procedures: Adhering to established financial procedures and guidelines to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Working with various departments, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, to support financial operations.
  • Audit Support: Participating in audits by preparing necessary documents and providing assistance during the audit process.
  • Professional Development: Staying updated on financial regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel, strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in financial software.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment, attention to detail and accuracy, ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with First Nations, clean Criminal Record and Child Intervention check.
