The University of Lethbridge is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Accounting. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team of faculty members who are committed to teaching and research excellence.

About the Position

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in accounting and a passion for teaching and research. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting, as well as contributing to the development of the accounting program.

Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting
  • Contribute to the development of the accounting program
  • Engage in research and publication in top-tier accounting journals
  • Provide academic advising to students
  • Participate in departmental and university service
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a PhD in Accounting or be in the final stages of completing their dissertation. An accounting designation is preferred. A commitment to teaching excellence and publishing research in quality journals is required.
