Kitchen Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Manager at Shoeless Joes. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Implement Operational Procedures
Develop and maintain efficient methods to meet our kitchen's work schedules, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of food to our customers.
Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen StaffOversee and direct the activities of our kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting our high standards for food quality and presentation.
Train and Develop StaffProvide comprehensive training to our kitchen staff on job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to ensure they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
Inventory ManagementEstimate and manage the inventory of ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
Quality ControlEnsure that all food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining the high level of excellence that our customers expect from Shoeless Joes.
Record KeepingMaintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for our kitchen operations.
Food Order ManagementPrepare and coordinate food order summaries for our chef, ensuring seamless communication and execution of kitchen tasks.
Tray and Trolley ManagementSupervise and inspect the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring they are presented to our customers in a timely and appealing manner.
Work SchedulingEstablish and manage work schedules for our kitchen staff, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing downtime.
Supervision and Team Management- Team Size
Supervise a team of 5-10 kitchen staff members.
Work TermThis is a permanent position.
Work LanguageEnglish is the primary language of communication in this role.
Work Hours35-40 hours per week.
