Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Donor Relations Specialist to join our team. This role will play a vital part in cultivating and nurturing relationships with donors, ensuring their engagement and satisfaction while contributing to the success of BCIT Foundation's fundraising goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, including targeted appeals and campaigns
  • Implement effective stewardship programs to cultivate donor loyalty and appreciation
  • Plan and coordinate impactful donor recognition events that celebrate their contributions
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including faculty, staff, and alumni, to identify fundraising opportunities and secure support
  • Prepare insightful reports and analysis on fundraising activities, providing recommendations for continuous improvement
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, and event planning within a non-profit or educational setting
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
