Business Valuation Expert

Pathfind is currently seeking a skilled Business Valuation Expert to join a reputable Public Practice Firm. This role involves collaborating with clients to deliver comprehensive business valuation and transaction advisory services tailored to diverse client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough business valuations, due diligence investigations, and financial analyses related to transactions, reorganizations, disputes, and tax obligations.
  • Engaging with clients, their legal representatives, and company stakeholders.
  • Evaluating and interpreting both financial and non-financial data provided by clients.
  • Identifying potential risks and opportunities that enhance value for clients.
  • Performing industry-specific analyses.
  • Gaining a solid understanding of clients' operations and best practices.
  • Providing strategic recommendations to clients based on findings.
  • Representing clients at industry networking events to foster new business opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

  • CPA designation is required.
  • CBV designation or active pursuit of CBV is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressive experience in professional accounting within a public practice environment.
  • Proven experience in preparing business valuation reports, conducting due diligence, and developing financial models.
  • Strong grasp of accounting standards, tax laws, and legal documentation relevant to financial contexts.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring junior staff.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000, commensurate with experience.
