Job Summary
Pathfind is seeking a highly skilled Valuation Expert to join our team. As a Business Appraiser, you will be responsible for providing expert valuation and transaction advisory services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive business valuations, due diligence reports, and financial analyses for various transactions, reorganizations, disputes, and tax filings.
- Consult with clients, their counsel, and company representatives to understand their business needs and provide expert advice.
- Analyze and interpret clients' financial and non-financial information to identify risks and opportunities that drive value.
- Conduct industry research and analysis to stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to provide exceptional service and support.
- Represent Pathfind at industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote our services.
Requirements
- CPA designation or equivalent.
- CBV designation or enrolled and working towards CBV.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive professional accounting experience at a public practice firm.
- Experience in preparing business valuation reports, due diligence, purchase price allocations, and financial models.
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal documents in a financial environment.
- Experience leading and mentoring teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Business acumen and understanding of corporate finance.
- Proven relationship-building skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Suite.
