Pathfind is currently seeking a skilled Business Valuation Expert to join a reputable Public Practice Firm. This role involves collaborating with a diverse range of clients to deliver exceptional business valuation and transaction advisory services.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting comprehensive business valuations, due diligence tasks, and financial analyses related to transactions, reorganizations, disputes, and tax compliance. Engaging with clients, their legal representatives, and company stakeholders. Evaluating and interpreting both financial and non-financial data from clients. Identifying potential risks and opportunities that enhance value for clients. Performing industry-related analyses. Gaining an in-depth understanding of clients' operations and best practices. Providing strategic recommendations to clients. Representing clients at industry networking events to foster new business relationships.Qualifications & Experience
CPA designation is required. CBV designation or currently enrolled and pursuing CBV is preferred. At least 5 years of progressive experience in professional accounting within a public practice environment. Proven experience in drafting business valuation reports, conducting due diligence, performing purchase price allocations, and developing financial models. Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and legal documentation in a financial context. Experience in leading and mentoring junior staff.Skills & Competencies

The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
