Job Summary

Pathfind is seeking a highly skilled Valuation Expert to join our team. As a Business Appraiser, you will be responsible for providing expert valuation and transaction advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare comprehensive business valuations, due diligence reports, and financial analyses for various transactions, reorganizations, disputes, and tax filings.
  • Consult with clients, their counsel, and company representatives to understand their business needs and provide expert advice.
  • Analyze and interpret clients' financial and non-financial information to identify risks and opportunities that drive value.
  • Conduct industry research and analysis to stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to provide exceptional service and support.
  • Represent Pathfind at industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote our services.

Requirements

  • CPA designation or equivalent.
  • CBV designation or enrolled and working towards CBV.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive professional accounting experience at a public practice firm.
  • Experience in preparing business valuation reports, due diligence, purchase price allocations, and financial models.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal documents in a financial environment.
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business acumen and understanding of corporate finance.
  • Proven relationship-building skills and ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Suite.
