Medical Laboratory Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality laboratory services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures to ensure accurate and timely test results.
- Collaborate with laboratory and hospital personnel to ensure effective communication and workflow.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of laboratory technologies and procedures to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality laboratory services.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program.
- Eligibility for certification from the Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
