Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, laboratory personnel, and medical staff.
- Stay up-to-date with technological developments in the field and apply new knowledge to improve laboratory services.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.
- Work collaboratively with laboratory and hospital personnel to ensure smooth laboratory operations.
- Graduation from an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology program.
- Eligibility for certification from the Canadian Society of Laboratory Technologists.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
