Medical Laboratory Technologist, Microbiology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Laboratory department, you will be responsible for performing routine Microbiology tests and specimen processing procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Under the direction of the Charge Tech (Microbiology), perform routine Microbiology tests and specimen processing procedures.
- Work collaboratively with laboratory and hospital personnel to ensure accurate and timely test results.
- Develop and maintain effective work relations with patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with technological developments in the field and apply new knowledge to improve laboratory processes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide excellent patient care.
