Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Kwality Sweets & Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and manage staff performance, providing coaching and feedback to ensure high-quality service.
  • Supervise and train staff to maintain high standards of customer service and food quality.
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales growth.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Provide support to the restaurant manager, assisting with administrative tasks and special projects.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Basic computer skills, including MS Excel and MS Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, collaborating with staff and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
