We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Supervisor to join our team at The Host Fine Indian Cuisine - Catering. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of our catering services.
Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting our high standards.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and submit reports as required, and ensure that all relevant regulations and standards are met.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with frequent standing for extended periods.
- Work Setting: Food service establishment or catering firm.
- Language: English.
