Position Overview

The IT Systems Administrator will oversee the functionality and upkeep of MEDA's Office 365 ecosystem and all associated technologies. You will also manage the lifecycle of workstations and other end-user technologies for MEDA personnel worldwide, from acquisition to disposal.

In collaboration with MEDA's operational units, you will configure and sustain SAAS-based systems, ensuring seamless integration through a standardized methodology. As the primary IT contact, you will be relied upon to offer solutions for all technical challenges. You will also be tasked with creating and updating standard operating procedures and other documentation.

Key Responsibilities

User and Email Administration

Oversee user accounts, groups, permissions, and email configurations within Office 365 and other platforms.

Security and Compliance Management

Implement security protocols, ensure compliance, and manage data protection efforts. Conduct periodic security assessments as required. Provide assistance for privacy-related issues.

Application and System Oversight

Administer Office 365 applications, ensuring systems are current and perform regular maintenance as necessary.

Technology Lifecycle Management

Oversee the complete lifecycle of workstations and other end-user technologies for staff globally, from procurement to asset disposal.

Support and Training Provision

Deliver technical support and training to users regarding workstations, Office 365 tools, SAAS applications, and other technologies.

Integration Coordination

Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to integrate third-party services and applications. Advocate for and guide the effective use of technologies throughout the organization.

Perform any additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Experience: A minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related field.
