Position Overview

The Information Technology Systems Administrator will oversee the health and maintenance of MEDA's Office 365 environment along with all associated technologies. You will also manage the lifecycle of workstations and other end-user technologies for MEDA staff globally, from procurement to asset disposal.

Collaborating closely with MEDA's business units, you will configure and maintain SAAS-based systems and facilitate interconnectivity among them using a standardized methodology. As the primary IT contact, you will provide guidance on all technical challenges. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and updating standard operating procedures and documentation.

  • Annual Salary Range: CAD $65,550

Key Responsibilities

User and Email Management

Oversee user accounts, groups, permissions, and email configurations within Office 365 and other systems.

Security and Compliance

Implement security protocols, ensure compliance, and manage data protection. Conduct periodic security audits as required and provide support for privacy-related issues.

Application and System Maintenance

Administer Office 365 applications, ensuring systems are current and perform routine maintenance as necessary.

Workstation and Technology Lifecycle Management

Manage the complete lifecycle of workstations and other end-user technologies for staff globally, from procurement to asset disposal.

Support and Training

Deliver technical support and training to users for workstations, Office 365 tools, SAAS applications, and other technologies.

Integration

Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to integrate third-party services and applications. Advocate for and guide the effective use of technologies across the organization.

Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Qualifications

Education: Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role.
