We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at CB Canada. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in analyzing financial statements, investigating and correcting errors or inconsistencies. You will also conduct ad-hoc projects, analyzing large volumes of data and communicating your findings.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze financial statements and identify areas for improvement
* Conduct ad-hoc projects to analyze large volumes of data and communicate findings
* Implement solutions to improve financial performance
* Prepare and analyze journal entries, financial reports, and balance sheet reconciliations
* Support bi-weekly Payroll function
* Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
* 3+ years accounting experience
* Advanced knowledge of Excel
* Expertise in Access / SQL and Workday are assets
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail
