About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Advisor to join our team at Scotiabank. As a Senior Financial Advisor, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers, helping them achieve their financial goals and build strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their financial needs and providing personalized advice and solutions.
  2. Financial Planning: Create comprehensive financial plans for our customers, taking into account their goals, risk tolerance, and financial situation.
  3. Investment Advice: Provide expert investment advice to our customers, helping them make informed decisions about their investments.
  4. Sales and Business Development: Meet and exceed sales targets, developing and implementing strategies to grow our business and increase revenue.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team to achieve business objectives, share knowledge and best practices, and support each other in our roles.
Requirements
  1. Strong Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  2. Financial Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of financial products and services, including investments, banking, and wealth management.
  3. Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
  4. Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business results.
  5. Professional Certifications: Mutual Funds license and CIFP Diploma, or equivalent.
