Key Responsibilities
- As a Financial Analyst, you will evaluate financial documents, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies.
- Undertake special projects involving the analysis of extensive data sets and present your insights effectively.
- Utilize your analytical skills to pinpoint processes that may influence financial outcomes and propose actionable solutions.
- Prepare and scrutinize journal entries, financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit schedules.
- Assist with the bi-weekly payroll process.
- Ensure adherence to generally accepted accounting principles and internal protocols.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA designation is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting.
- Proficient in Excel at an advanced level.
- Familiarity with Access / SQL and Workday is considered an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong multitasking capabilities with a keen attention to detail.
