Key Responsibilities

  • Execute critical elements within the education, engineering, and enforcement programs, each customized to the local landscape.
  • Undertake ongoing program surveillance, decisive decision-making, comprehensive training, and expert mentoring to ensure consistent and effective outcomes.
  • Participate in a range of wildfire suppression and pre-suppression activities tailored specifically to the landscape of the Forest Area.
  • Active involvement in Incident Command Teams, task forces, working groups, and committees.
  • Support forest management and enhance forest health.

Requirements

  • Expertise in wildfire prevention and operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisive decisions.
