Job Summary

Emterra Group is seeking a skilled Millwright Specialist to join our team. As a Millwright Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery, including hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, conveyors, and shaft alignment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of preventative maintenance programs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to ensure adherence to preventative maintenance programs.
  • Plan and adhere to work schedules consistent with the needs of the plant and maintenance programs.
  • Maintain accurate log books of all maintenance activities.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels of critical replacement parts in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
  • Participate in health and safety initiatives of the plant.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Red Seal Millwright certification.
  • Excellent welding and fabrication skills.
  • Technical expertise with hydraulics, pumps, motors, conveyors, shaft alignment, pulleys, belts, and bearings.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
