Available Positions:
- Quebec City Region: Oversee a diverse territory encompassing Quebec, Beauce, Centre-du-Québec, Saguenay and Lac-St-Jean, Charlevoix, and Bas-St-Laurent.
- Montreal Region: Manage a dynamic area including downtown Montreal, Laval, and Gatineau.
Reporting to the Divisional Sales Manager, you will be empowered to excel in your role. You will collaborate with a high-performing team focused on achieving excellence, mastering skills, and succeeding collectively.
Your primary responsibility will be to drive business growth through the distribution of our premium Oyster Bay and Barossa Valley Estate brands in the Montreal, Laval, North Shore, and Gatineau regions. You will build upon your knowledge of the industry, market dynamics, and effective sales and marketing strategies. This role involves engaging with multiple sales channels, including retail, on-premise, and corporate accounts, necessitating regular travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and implement strategies to boost sales within the SAQ store networks and restaurant partnerships.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key accounts, utilizing effective reasoning and negotiation skills to influence positive outcomes.
- Stay informed about market trends, new opportunities, and emerging on-premise establishments and corporate prospects.
- Employ strong analytical and financial acumen to evaluate and enhance sales performance.
- Manage a designated territory, ensuring regular travel to meet clients and prospects.
- Continuously identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of two years of sales experience; experience in the wine sector is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and meet targets.
- Experience in hospitality is beneficial, especially for those transitioning into a sales role.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities and the ability to influence outcomes through effective negotiation.
- Highly organized, motivated, and self-driven.
- Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written).
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
