Position Overview

The role of a Grocery Store Operations Supervisor involves overseeing daily activities within a retail food environment. This position is essential for ensuring smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 month and up to 7 months of relevant experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff members to enhance team performance.
  • Manage inventory by ordering merchandise and maintaining stock levels.
  • Create and implement work schedules to ensure efficient store operations.
  • Engage with customers to address inquiries, resolve complaints, and manage supply shortages.
  • Organize and maintain a well-structured inventory system.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of grocery clerks and shelf stockers.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position involves supervising a team of 5-10 employees.

Work Environment

Candidates should be prepared to handle heavy loads as part of their daily responsibilities.
