Job Summary

The Grocery Store is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members, including cooks and kitchen helpers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
