Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate to join our Investment Banking team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, research, and analysis, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain Financial Models

Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support deal valuation, financial projections, and strategic analysis.

Conduct Industry and Company Research

Conduct in-depth industry and company research to identify investment opportunities and assess market trends.

Assist in Cross-Border Transactions

Assist in the execution of cross-border transactions, including deal structuring, due diligence, and negotiation.

Build Relationships with Clients

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fund managers, and other key stakeholders.

Mentor Junior Team Members

Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Prepare Pitch Books and Presentations

Prepare high-quality pitch books and presentations to showcase investment opportunities to potential clients.

Qualifications

  • Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. CPA designation.

Experience

Proven experience and currently from the investment banking space.

Skills

Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel. Excellent research and analytical abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Advantages

Experience in cross-border transactions is a significant advantage. Familiarity with Canadian capital markets and regulatory requirements is a plus.
