Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support deal valuation, financial projections, and strategic analysis.
  • Industry Research: Conduct in-depth industry and company research to identify investment opportunities and assess market trends.
  • Transaction Execution: Assist in the execution of cross-border transactions, including deal structuring, due diligence, and negotiation.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fund managers, and other key stakeholders.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Pitch Book Development: Prepare high-quality pitch books and presentations to showcase investment opportunities to potential clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. CPA designation.
  • Proven experience and currently from the investment banking space.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent research and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in cross-border transactions is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with Canadian capital markets and regulatory requirements is a plus.
