Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Petabit Networks Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer systems and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical assistance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems, networks, and internet connectivity.
  • Research and implement solutions to technical issues, utilizing user guides, technical manuals, and other resources.
  • Offer advice and training to users to help them overcome technical difficulties.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain a log of problems and solutions for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Provide support for business systems, networks, and internet connectivity.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, and software.
  • Perform backup and recovery operations for web servers.
  • Manage incidents and ensure timely resolution.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
Working Conditions
  • Permanent position.
  • 30 hours per week.
  • English language required.
