Accounting Leadership Opportunity with a Market Leader

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at a leading Canadian company. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of business unit month-end close and related deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Controller to drive major initiatives and ensure effective communication across finance teams.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to drive automation and optimize system utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with other business unit finance teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Designated Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA-CA or CPA) with 7+ years of progressive experience, including 3+ years of team leadership.
  • Proven experience in accounting deliverables in a large-scale/public company/IFRS environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
