Senior Project Manager

Stantec seeks a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our growing Water Treatment and Pumping team.
In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary teams in the design and construction of water treatment and pumping infrastructure projects for municipal, institutional, and industrial clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering successful projects on time and within budget.
Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Planning and coordinating the efforts of engineers and technicians across various disciplines, primarily process mechanical engineering.
- Leading internal and external meetings to ensure seamless project execution.
- Establishing and monitoring progress indicators, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Designing water treatment and wastewater treatment systems for municipal and industrial applications.
- Developing designs for drinking water pressure boosting or wastewater pumping stations.
- Contributing to report writing, technical specifications, plan preparation, and project monitoring during the construction phase.
- Supporting business development activities by identifying opportunities and contributing to service offers.
Your qualifications should include:
- A Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, or water engineering (a Master's degree is an asset) or a related field focused on water treatment.
- Over 10 years of experience in project management within the water treatment, reservoirs, pumping stations, or process mechanical engineering sectors.
- Membership in the Quebec Order of Engineers (OIQ).
- A valid driver's license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
