About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Canadian College of Business, Science & Technology. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our college.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning: Coordinate and arrange seminars, conferences, and other events to ensure their smooth execution.
  • Communication and Coordination: Facilitate the flow of information within the team, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and up-to-date.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to our staff, including opening and distributing mail, preparing meeting minutes, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Travel Arrangements: Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations as needed.
  • Front Desk Reception: Greet visitors, direct them to the appropriate contacts or service areas, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Document Management: Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems, ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, attention to detail, and repetitive tasks
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, flexibility, and a team player
