Position Overview

The Payroll and Workforce Management Specialist will play a crucial role in the execution of time and attendance strategies across various divisions. This position requires a thorough understanding of compliance with labor regulations and best practices in time management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist divisions in configuring their time and attendance systems, ensuring adherence to applicable labor laws and Magna's operational standards.
  • Collaborate with HR and Payroll departments to address and resolve discrepancies in time and attendance records.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff and management on time and attendance protocols.
  • Evaluate time and attendance policies to identify trends and suggest enhancements for improved efficiency.
  • Work alongside the System Implementation team to clarify resolutions and modifications.
  • Facilitate the prioritization of urgent tasks impacting project timelines.
  • Support initiatives aimed at optimizing initial time tracking and payroll processes.
  • Generate reports on time and attendance metrics for management review.
  • Stay informed on industry advancements and best practices in time management.
Qualifications


• Minimum of 5 years' experience in time and attendance management.

• In-depth knowledge of labor laws and regulations.

• Proficiency in time and attendance software and systems.

• Experience in leading teams through transitional processes and efficiency improvements.

• Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and reporting.

Preferred Skills


• Excellent organizational and planning abilities to manage multiple priorities.

• Capacity to handle sensitive and confidential information.
