Job Summary

:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Testing Engineer to join our team at NTT DATA. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test assets to ensure seamless integration with our software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to adhere to software engineering best practices and standards.
  • Contribute to the development of Continuous Integration and Continuous Improvement (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance our software delivery process.
  • Apply Test-Driven Design (TDD) concepts to test and debug automated solutions and custom tools.
  • Support Functional Testing of our Health & Welfare administration platform to ensure accurate and efficient processing of client data.
  • Develop and execute test cases as part of functional and regression testing to identify and resolve defects.
  • Participate in requirement review meetings and design concise and clear automation validation scripts based on analysis of complex business requirements.
  • Maintain client-level validation and support project teams with implementing annual enrollment automated validations development using industry-standard methodologies and tools.
  • Perform manual validation and triage issues on new benefits platform to ensure seamless integration with our software solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 6-9 years of experience in automation testing with a strong background in software development.
  • Ability to create and modify complex SQL queries to support data-driven testing.
  • Proficiency in writing and debugging code in Java/Spring and experience with API automation using Rest Assured and Postman.
  • Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Cucumber to ensure effective communication between developers and testers.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to cut through complex details and identify critical business requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results consistently.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
