Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate lawyer or paralegal to join our team at The Legal Clinic. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with low-income clients in areas of clinic law, with a focus on housing and social assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in a patient, respectful, and empathetic manner
  • Manage client files effectively
  • Develop strong negotiation skills through litigation and trial experience
  • Work collaboratively with a team of professionals committed to social justice
Requirements
  • Practicing lawyer or paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Ontario
  • Up to 5 years of experience in legal clinic work
  • Ability to work with high-needs clients
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Knowledge of CIMS software (an asset)
  • Fluency in French (an asset)
