Employment Relations DSC Co-President: Strategic Leadership Role

The Arts and Science Undergraduate Society (ASUS) is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the role of Co-President: Employment Relations DSC. This position is responsible for advocating on behalf of students in their department, organizing events, and coordinating with the Academics Commissioner.
Key Responsibilities- Departmental Advocacy: Represent the interests of students in their department and ensure their voices are heard.
- Event Planning and Execution: Organize, promote, and execute academic and social events for the department, fostering a sense of community and engagement.
- Faculty Board Participation: Prepare for and attend every Arts and Science Faculty Board meeting, staying informed and contributing to departmental discussions.
- USAT Evaluations: Coordinate the administration of USAT evaluations, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Strategic Planning: Submit a budget, strategic plan, and constitution to the Academics Commissioner, outlining the department's goals and objectives.
- DSC Assembly Participation: Attend monthly DSC Assembly meetings, staying informed and contributing to departmental decision-making.
- Commissioner Meetings: Meet regularly with the Academics Commissioner or Deputy Academics Commissioner, discussing departmental matters and seeking guidance.
- Charter Compliance: Ensure all provisions in the DSC Charter are followed, maintaining the integrity and accountability of the department.
