The Department Student Council President is a key leadership position within the Arts and Science Undergraduate Society (ASUS). This role is responsible for advocating on behalf of students in their department, leading a committee of undergraduate students, and planning and executing events tailored to their specific department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for the interests of students in their respective department
  • Organize, promote, and execute academic and social events for the department
  • Prepare for and attend every Arts and Science Faculty Board
  • Submit a budget, strategic plan, and constitution to the Academics Commissioner
  • Participate in DSC Assembly, to be held once a month
