Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
    • Conduct performance reviews to assess the financial health of the restaurant and identify areas for improvement.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their job responsibilities.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
    • Operations Management
      • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure the restaurant is running efficiently and effectively.
    • Supply Chain Management
      • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
    • Health and Safety
      • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for staff and customers.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
    • Experience
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
    • Language
      • Fluent in English.
    • Work Environment
      • Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Personal Suitability
      • Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
    Working Conditions
    • 35 to 40 hours per week.
