About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Distribution Supervisor to join our team at New Way Distribution. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
    • Provide guidance and training to staff to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Inventory Management
    • Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
  • Logistics and Operations
    • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the warehouse and distribution center.
    • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Recruitment and Training
    • Recruit and hire staff as needed to support warehouse operations.
    • Arrange training for staff to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication
    • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to staff.
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
