Job Title: Vice President Human Resources & Chief Human Resources Officer

Location: Flin Flon, The Pas, or Thompson, MB

This is a senior leadership role that oversees the Human Resources function for the Northern Health Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain top talent in the region.
  • Representative Workforce Strategy: Develop and implement a workforce strategy that reflects the diversity of the region.
  • Labour/Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees and management on labour relations matters.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Organization & Staff Development/Leadership Development: Develop and implement leadership development programs that support the growth and development of employees.
  • Employee Wellness/Staff Health: Develop and implement programs that promote employee wellness and staff health.
  • Occupational Health & Safety: Develop and implement programs that promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Staff Scheduling: Develop and implement scheduling systems that meet the needs of employees and the organization.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in human resources, with experience in a senior leadership role. They will be able to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives, and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
