Role: Senior Oracle WMS Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Consultant specializing in Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud (WMS) to join our team. In this role, you will lead and manage the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Oracle WMS solutions for our clients. Your expertise in Oracle Cloud technologies and warehouse management processes will be crucial in delivering scalable, efficient, and integrated solutions tailored to our clients' operational needs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Design and Implementation: Spearhead the design and implementation of Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud solutions, ensuring they align with client requirements, industry best practices, and Oracle's capabilities.
  2. Configuration and Customization: Configure Oracle WMS to facilitate warehouse operations, including establishing workflows, rules, inventory management, and integrations with other systems (ERP, SCM, etc.).
  3. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to project teams, overseeing technical delivery, resolving complex issues, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  4. Business Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of client warehouse management processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend Oracle WMS configurations to enhance operational efficiency.
  5. Integration and Data Migration: Collaborate with integration teams to design and implement interfaces between Oracle WMS and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and integrity.
  6. Training and Support: Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions for client teams. Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting after implementation.
  7. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, test plans, and deployment guides.
  8. Client Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, understand their business objectives, and provide strategic guidance on leveraging Oracle WMS to achieve their goals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Consultant specializing in Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud (WMS), with a successful track record of implementations.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud, including configuration, customization, and integration capabilities. Knowledge of Oracle ERP and SCM modules is advantageous.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of warehouse management processes, inventory control, logistics, and supply chain management principles.
  • Certifications: Oracle Cloud certifications related to Oracle Warehouse Management Cloud or relevant modules are highly desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead project teams, mentor junior consultants, and drive successful project outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and optimizing solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 10 years of Information Technology experience in Oracle WMS Cloud.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience delivering and managing complex ERP programs, including Oracle WMS Cloud.
  • Minimum of 3 implementations of Oracle WMS Cloud modules in the capacity of Solution Architect.

Location:

This is a hybrid role with an expectation of travel. The primary work location is in Canada.
