Building Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at IDY Corp. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings and ensuring that all operations run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Manage Schedules and coordinate activities to ensure that all maintenance work is completed on time.
- Train and Develop maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure Health and Safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all staff.
- Read and Interpret blueprints and drawings, understanding the layout and design of our buildings.
- Requisition and Order materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring that all necessary resources are available.
- Lead and Instruct individuals, providing guidance and support to help them complete tasks effectively.
As a Building Maintenance Supervisor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often outdoors and in noisy conditions. You will be required to work at heights and in dusty environments, so a strong physical presence and ability to work in challenging conditions is essential.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Installation, commercial, and various locations.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, work at heights, and in dusty environments.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, team player, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
