Building Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at IDY Corp. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate the work of maintenance staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Plan and Schedule maintenance activities, including routine checks and repairs, to minimize downtime and ensure optimal building performance.
- Train and Develop maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills and knowledge.
- Manage Resources and materials, including requisitioning and ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
- Ensure Compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all staff and visitors.
- Communicate Effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders, providing regular updates and reports on maintenance activities and progress.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a maintenance or facilities management role.
- Work Environment: Outdoors, noisy, at heights, and dusty.
- Work Setting: Installation, commercial, and various locations.
- Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, organized, reliability, and team player.
