The Payroll Services Representative plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for Fraser Health Authority. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform account analysis and reconciliation, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and maintain the daily operation of designated accounts, including WorkSafe BC, Health Benefit Trust, and Employer Health Tax.
- Process pay runs, manual cheques, and retroactive payments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with department standards.
- Develop and maintain ad hoc reports, extracting data from the payroll system and uploading it into Microsoft Access or Excel.
- Conduct training programs for time and attendance modules, ensuring accurate timekeeping and preventing overpayments.
Grade 12, successful completion of a recognized payroll course, and three (3) years' recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Ability to type at 35 wpm, communicate effectively, and deal with others effectively. Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
