Overview

As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will assist the Store Manager in cultivating a team that achieves exceptional results by delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will also share the responsibility for executing all store operations and ensuring a visually appealing environment. Your role is to foster a positive atmosphere that engages and develops your team members, associates, and customers on a daily basis. Your enthusiasm for being part of a successful team is evident in your daily contributions.

The Retail Operations Supervisor reports directly to the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

As the Retail Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the Store Manager to develop action plans aimed at achieving results and expanding the business.
  • Demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge and operational skills to maximize sales.
  • Engaging with customers to foster relationships and enhance brand loyalty through company initiatives.
  • Assisting the Store Manager in nurturing team members dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • Overseeing specific areas of responsibility and being accountable for performance outcomes.
  • Supporting the Store Manager in maintaining store standards for merchandising and operations consistently.
  • Gaining insights into all business aspects and sharing innovative ideas to drive success.
  • Remaining composed during challenges and unexpected situations.
  • Executing POS transactions during designated shifts and fulfilling management duties in the Store Manager's absence.

Qualifications

You will also possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Co/Assistant Manager in a similar volume retail environment (preferred).
  • A proven history of surpassing sales and performance expectations.
  • Flexible availability to accommodate business needs, including evenings and weekends.
  • Potential for occasional travel to other store locations as required.

Requirements & EEO Statement

Ability to bend, lift, open, and move products and fixtures weighing up to 50 lbs., as necessary. The salary for this position is $22.00 per hour. This role may be eligible for bonuses and/or incentives based on company performance. Compensation is influenced by various factors, including the position offered and work experience. In addition to your salary, Eddie Bauer offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a retirement plan with company matching, paid time off programs, overtime pay (if applicable), and a flexible work schedule.
