About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at 1974772 Ontario Inc. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and motivate a team of staff to achieve high standards of customer service and food quality.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve staff performance.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Organize and maintain inventory, including food, beverages, and supplies.
    • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
    • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
    • Manage and maintain accurate records, including inventory, sales, and staff performance.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
    • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and achieve targets.
    • Overtime required during peak periods.
