About the Role

Skyworks is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op student to join our Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa, Canada. As an RF Design Validation/Testing Co-op, you will play a key role in supporting the development of RF front-end solutions, power amplifiers, synthesizers, switches, and controllers for various wireless applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support RF test evaluation of RFICs and multichip modules
  • Evaluate and summarize test results, and present data to design engineers
  • Perform design evaluation, simulation, and debugging of RF switches, filters, couplers, PA's, LNA's, and FEM's
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor or Master Degree's program
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data organization
  • Knowledge in RF parameters (insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR, NF, etc.) is an asset
  • RFIC Design and Simulation experience will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
