Position: Security Team Member with Marine Transportation Security Clearance (MTSC)

Objective: The chosen candidates will play a crucial role in safeguarding the safety and security of designated areas in and around Vancouver.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct patrols in assigned areas, both on foot and by vehicle
  • Ensure the safety of all individuals present
  • Respond promptly to incidents such as theft, trespassing, vandalism, and fire
  • Monitor access to the property
  • Report any suspicious activities or security violations
  • Enforce client regulations
  • Collaborate with emergency services as necessary
  • Perform concierge and administrative duties as required

Qualifications:

  • Valid Security Workers License in BC
  • Marine Transportation Security Clearance (MTSC)
  • Class 5 BC Driver's License and dependable vehicle
  • OFA 1 certification or higher (preferred)
  • AST license (preferred)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong decision-making capabilities
  • Able to work effectively in varying weather conditions
  • Possession of a smartphone with a data plan (monthly reimbursement provided)
