Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at Service Plus Aquatics Inc. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers, journals, and other financial records
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable
    • Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
    • Ensure timely payment of invoices and collection of accounts receivable
  • Financial Analysis
    • Perform financial analysis and provide recommendations for process improvements
    • Assist in the development of financial models and forecasts
  • Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements for management and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Education
    • College diploma or equivalent in accounting or a related field
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Skills
    • Proficient in accounting software, including Sage Accounting Software
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Working Conditions

The Accounting Clerk will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
