Job Summary

Casino Niagara is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Associate to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping and maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and safety in our gaming floor, public areas, and office space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Take pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all areas, including the gaming floor, public areas, and office space.
  • Prioritization and Time Management: Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and ensuring that all areas are clean and safe.
  • Physical Demands: Stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs on a regular basis.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure that all areas are clean and safe.
  • Working Safely: Work safely and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation.
  • Knowledge of Casino Operations: Have thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Work independently and as part of a team that supports and helps one another, and be flexible to support a 24/7 operation.
Requirements
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 3-6 months of work experience in a busy housekeeping environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Demonstrated experience in the use of burnishers, floor scrubbers, shampooers, and large vacuum cleaners.
  • Organizational and Multitasking Skills: Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Physical Assessment: The ability to successfully pass a pre-placement physical assessment.
